    The phases of “The End of Diets: Healing Emotional Hunger” program are:

    7. Participate in six week follow up support meetings after the intensive.

    · For six consecutive weeks right after the intensive we will facilitate weekly support meetings.
    · These meetings will be used to gauge progress and make adjustments to your individual programs.

    During these phases you will:

    1) Learn how we use food when we experience any ups or downs in our emotional state.

    2) Learn how we, emotional eaters, are different than non-emotional eaters.

    3) Learn how to recognize and truly feel our emotions.

    4) Learn how to be motivated by what is in our best interest, instead of pleasing others or any other short term motivation.

    5) Learn how to be with our emotions instead of eating through them.

    6) Develop a higher body awareness and physical sensitivity when we experience any imbalance in our emotional being.

    7) Develop a higher awareness of what are our recurring emotional triggers. Who are the people that push our buttons, what are the events that causes us to feel out of balance, what are the situations send us over the edge, what are the conditioned responses that make us hungry. More importantly how do we end the cycle of automatic emotional hunger and into automatic overeating behavior.

    8) How do we stay in a program for as many weeks as it takes for us to lose the weight. How do we design an eating philosophy that will work for us for the rest of our lives.
